BragBracket™ (bragbracket.com) is a private sports prediction platform. This page explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Who we are
BragBracket (bragbracket.com) is operated by Nuno Fortes, based in Portugal. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
What we collect
- Email address (only if you sign in with a Google account or magic link)
- Display name (the name you choose for each group)
- Your match predictions and tournament picks
- Basic usage data (page visits, timestamps)
Guest users
If you join a group without signing in, we store a guest session token in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) to identify you within that group. Guest data is retained for up to 12 months after your last activity, then deleted. We also store your language preference locally. Neither value is used for advertising or tracking.
How we use your data
We use your data to run the prediction game — showing you the leaderboard, your match history, and group activity. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not show you ads.
Data storage
Your data is stored on Supabase (supabase.com) infrastructure within the European Union.
Third-party services
We use the following services to operate BragBracket: Supabase (database and authentication, EU infrastructure), Cloudflare (hosting, global edge network), and Resend (transactional email delivery for match reminders). Each provider has their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to request a copy of it in a portable format, to restrict or object to how we process it, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@bragbracket.com. We will respond within 30 days.
